Amos Fernandes is a skilled traffic engineer and transportation planning professional in traffic impact studies, planning studies, congestion management plans, interchange justification reports, traffic signal timing, micro-simulation modeling, signal design, parking studies, and road safety. With 17 years of experience, Mr. Fernandes has obtained the knowledge and skills necessary to provide feasible solutions that enable transportation systems to meet local and system-wide needs. The synergy of his engineering and planning experience has resulted in developing transportation system plans for cities, counties and roadway networks that minimize congestion and encourage pedestrian, bicycle and transit travel. By applying functional design, he has developed mitigation treatments that do not just provide for necessary capacity, but also meet the needs of the surrounding community.
